LE PORT DE SIORAC campsite in the Dordogne is ideally located for discovering the treasures of the Périgord Noir.
As soon as you leave the village, you can start discovering the circuit of the 5 castles (Castelnaud, Beynac, Marqueyssac, etc.). You can also discover the region by canoe or hot-air balloon… to ensure that these moments remain magical and unforgettable. Aboard a gabarre, the traditional boats that used to take people and their goods to Bordeaux, you’ll cruise past some of the most beautiful châteaux in Périgord.
The châteaux of the Périgord guarantee an incredible cultural experience, a unique time to share with family and friends in the days of the knights.
These heritage treasures are a must-see!
Throughout the summer, many of the villages in the Périgord Noir (Belvès, Sarlat, Le Bugue, Montignac, Saint Cyprien, etc.) host night markets, also known as Marchés Gourmands, where local producers come together.
It’s a chance to get together with family and friends in a festive atmosphere over a plate of local produce and a glass of wine. Tastings and colourful discoveries, all in a friendly, good-humoured atmosphere.
Let yourself be carried away by the rich and varied territory that is the Périgord Noir.
There are many landscapes to explore. You can explore the hiking, cycling, horse-riding and canoeing trails. You’ll find what you’re looking for with our local service providers – just ask at the campsite reception.
And don’t forget all the activities on site: swimming in natural water near the river, direct access to the beach, a play area with trampoline, table tennis, etc.
The town of Siorac-en-Périgord invites you, as it does every summer on the 1st weekend in August, to the Fête du Pont… Free shows for all, merry-go-rounds, entertainment, garage sale and on-site catering.
Everything you need for a great holiday with the family, friends or couples. Come one, come all!
